Have all the information on the public transport network at your fingertips andmanage T-mobilitat from TMB App. TMB App is free and available in six languages.
• T-mobilitat: Register for T-mobilitat card and validate it without contact. You can buy tickets and upload them to your physical card if you have requested it. For specific queries about T-mobilitat, you can contact us via WhatsApp at +34 607 68 40 87.
• Buy tickets to collect from metro machines: you can continue buying magnetic stripe transport tickets and collect them from vending machines, as before. You can also buy a single bus ticket and validate it on the app once on board. Save your purchase history and invoices and carry out other procedures.
• Find out about bus and metro services: check for information on bus and metro lines, stops and stations, connections, access points, times, changes in the service, waiting times and accessibility of the lines you wish to use.
• Plan your journeys with ‘Journey Planner: Journey Planner offers you the best public transport route including options with all operators. It provides information on the journey and its length and shows you how to consult the map. You can activate the navigator to tell you when you have reached your destination stop. It also shows you the nearest public transport to your location.
• iBus Proper Bus - iMetro Proper Metro: these are two tools that inform you of the scheduled arrival times of the next buses and metro, respectively, and their level of occupancy. The iBus also provides information alerts at stops to tell you when the bus is about to arrive.
• Customise the TMB App with your JoTMBé user account: save your favourite routes and stops, along with your usual routes and places. Choose the notifications you want to receive to keep you informed of changes to the bus and metro service. Also discover the JoTMBé points programme and earn points by personalising and using the application.
• Customer service: access our customer service channels, carry out procedures through the virtual office, book an appointment at Punts TMB and check out our FAQs.

Even if its quite slow the app is extremely useful to jump around in Barcelona. And the suggested path are very well computed!

I just used this for 5 days in June and was very impressed; like I said it worked perfectly. I would be somewhere, type in either a point of interest or a train station and was given nearly instant perfect directions. It works for the trains or the buses and actually gives you the walking directions to the train station or bus stop you need to start from. It got to the point where my family and I would go to use it and say "okay, its going to fail us this time" but that never happened. Highly recommended.

Some bad moments

I dont know what this app is good for. Its obviously not able to find stations nor connections.

This app, besides bugs, has no real value to tourist or any other person who is not familiar with Barcelona. The app seems to not cover all lines and lacks good search functionality. Even if you manage to find your desired transport route you dont get information how to get to station (except for a straight line on a map) or information when the train or bus is leaving. But still, with a bit of thinking and orientation skills the app provides help.

Recommends stations and lines that are closed in the evening. Doesnt find all lines. Demands registration just to store an address. Very difficult to use.

Today I cant connect at all. It doesnt let me in, doesnt allow to register and doesnt send me my password through I forgot my password . Yesterday it doesnt show find the place where I wanted to go. 4 months ago it works with some issues, I have spent 20 min on the stop that wasnt working .

This app doesnt work without a internet connection so you are not able to use it

Not user friendly plus it doesnt really tell you how to reach places. On top of that, you cant even access the full bus routes.
